Taking a step towards early detection can make a difference in protecting our health.
As part of Project Sunkalp, a cancer screening camp was conducted at Sunambedu PHC, Cheyyur, bringing preventive healthcare closer to the local community.
A total of 61 beneficiaries participated, including 28 men and 33 women.
The camp provided:
• 20 iBreast Examinations
• 61 Oral Examinations
The screening identified 1 oral screening finding requiring further medical evaluation and follow-up. This finding does not by itself confirm a cancer diagnosis. Further medical assessment is important.
Regular cancer screening helps identify suspicious changes early and encourages timely medical consultation. Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to make preventive healthcare and cancer screening more accessible to communities across the region.
Early detection can make a difference. Together, let’s build healthier and more aware communities!
Kalpavriksham Trust is registered under 12AB, 80G, and CSR-1 (MCA) and listed on NGO Darpan, with transparent camp-wise impact reporting for CSR partnerships.
